We choose topics that help a reader understand or complete a real task. Pages should add a concrete explanation, example, calculator, checklist, prompt, or source path—not exist merely to target a search phrase.
Research and sourcing
For US rules and systems, we prioritize the IRS, SEC and Investor.gov, CFPB, FDIC, Federal Reserve, Social Security Administration, Department of Labor, and official disclosures. Secondary sources may help identify questions but should not replace an available primary authority.
Dates and changing information
Articles display a last-updated date. Contribution limits, eligibility thresholds, tax rules, and similar facts are labeled by year and linked to a current source. Readers should confirm the rule in force on the date of their decision.
Calculators
Calculator pages explain inputs, formulas, assumptions, and important omissions. Results are estimates and should never be described as guaranteed outcomes.
Use of AI in publishing
AI may assist with outlining, language editing, test cases, or alternative explanations. It is not treated as a source. Claims, links, math, and current rules must be checked independently before publication.
Conflicts and commerce
Books sold by the author are clearly identified. Free educational content should remain useful without a purchase. Commercial links do not change the source standard.
Corrections
When a material error is identified, we correct the page promptly, update the review date when appropriate, and recheck related pages that may repeat the claim. Readers can use the author's public Gumroad profile linked from the site to report an issue.
